
The Patrol Division is led by Captain Tim Hartfield.
Warrants/Process, Training Division, Reserve Units and Dispatch also fall under Patrol. Each of these Units are a very vital part to help protect communities throughout Forrest County. These Divisions will professionally and reasonably enforce all lawful ordinances and laws of the State of Mississippi. Dispatch is responsible for emergency and non-emergency calls forwarded to the Forrest County Sheriff's Office.
We are committed to protect and serve all citizens of Forrest County with respect and integrity. Our daily goals are to be proactive and visible in an effort to combat any criminal element that may threaten our wonderful communities and families. Visibility and partnerships are the biggest deterrent on crime.

Our team consists of highly trained and skilled professionals who are passionate about serving the community.
Training Coordinator Sgt. Jeff Yelverton provides training for certification and real-world training to ensure deputies are prepared for anything they may encounter.
From handgun and rifle training and safety to defensive driving, Sgt. Yelverton keeps the department up to date in its pursuit of accreditation. The Forrest County Sheriff’s Office is the first department in the state to have all officers certified for Crisis Intervention Team as well as the first to certify all deputies for Alzheimer’s Approach Training.

Warrants and Process is led by Lieutenant Allen Parker.
The Warrants/Process Unit apprehends individuals with outstanding fines, criminal warrants, and serves process papers. The Sheriff's office does not serve warrants over the phone.
Individuals with warrants for unpaid fines are encouraged to reach out to the respective court that issued the warrant to pay their fines.
