Direct Support

Dispatch

Dispatch is responsible for emergency and non-emergency calls forwarded to the Forrest County Sheriff's Office.

Service Center/Maintenance

Maintenance ensures the fleet and all equipment is able to perform at the highest level.

Bailiffs/Building Security

Building Security and Bailiffs protect County assets such as courtrooms, tax offices, and other facilities.

Policy and Procedure

Policies and Procedures are critical for a law enforcement agency. Captain Kent Banks and Lieutenant John Tryner develop policies and procedures to meet federal and state requirements.

These policies and procedures are a step towards the goal of accreditation.

Training

Sergeant Andy Davis provides training for certification and real world training to ensure deputies are prepared for anything they may encounter.

From handgun and rifle to intoxilyzer courses, Sergeant Woodard keeps the department up to date in its pursuit of accreditation.

Captain Kent Banks oversees Direct Support.
